Consumer brand

A brand as experienced by customers.

A consumer brand is how an organisation is experienced by the people who buy its products or services, built through marketing, quality, and customer experience. It often colours candidate expectations before any employer messaging lands, since people apply to companies they already know as customers. Aligning the consumer and employer brands, while being clear they are distinct promises, helps attraction feel coherent and authentic.
