Employee engagement

The emotional commitment employees have to their work.

Employee engagement is the degree of emotional commitment people feel toward their work and organisation, showing up as discretionary effort, energy, and willingness to stay. Engaged employees are more likely to advocate for the brand and to deliver the experience that underpins its reputation. It is both an outcome of a lived EVP and a leading indicator of retention, making it a key measure for people and brand teams alike.
